A Greek summer vacation has three distinct components.  Firstly, you have the city of Athens with its ancient ruins, museums, rich history and culture; secondly  you have the opportunity to take a short hop to any one of the many famous Greek Islands, and lastly  there is shopping, fine dining, and ouzo – the national drink of Greece.
